For licensed practitioners · Compounded medications from partner 503A pharmacies
The terms that apply to use of the GC Scientific ordering portal and practice support services.
The platform is available only to licensed practitioners and the practices they work in. Any licensed prescriber may apply for access; GC Scientific opens an account once the practice and its licensure are verified, and accounts are never created by self-service. The platform is not for patient use.
Each user must keep their sign-in confidential. The practice is responsible for activity under its accounts and for keeping its users and their roles up to date.
GC Scientific provides the ordering portal, account support and, separately, practice support services. GC Scientific is not a pharmacy and does not compound, dispense or prescribe.
Medications ordered through the portal are compounded, labeled, dispensed and shipped by a licensed partner 503A pharmacy, which is the pharmacy of record for that prescription. Product availability, fulfillment and prescription requirements are determined by the dispensing pharmacy.
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.
Every order is a patient-specific prescription for one named patient. Office-use stock orders are not accepted.
Staff may prepare an order, but only a licensed prescriber at the practice may authorize and submit a prescription. The prescriber is solely responsible for the clinical decision to prescribe, for the patient relationship, and for complying with the laws and board rules of their state.
The practice confirms that the information it enters is accurate, that it has the right to share patient information for fulfillment, and that each shipment is going to a state where the prescription is valid.
Nothing on the platform is clinical advice, a treatment recommendation or a diagnosis.
Prices shown in the portal are the practice's prices at the time of the order. Every charge, including shipping and any supplies, is shown before an order is submitted, and an invoice is issued for each order.
Medication, shipping, supplies and practice support are always billed as separate lines. Practice support plans are billed monthly on their own invoice and are never part of a medication charge.
An order is accepted when the dispensing pharmacy accepts the prescription. A pharmacy may decline or place a hold on a prescription, for example to clarify directions, and the practice is told through the portal.
Card payments are not yet enabled on the platform. Accepted payment methods and payment terms are confirmed with each practice when billing is set up, before any charge is made.
Practice support plans (Foundation, Clinical Partner and Practice Growth) are consulting, education and marketing services. They are month to month and begin only after GC Scientific confirms scope and start date with the practice.
Compliance guidance is operational support and is not legal advice. Advisors provide education, mentorship and operational oversight; clinical decisions and supervision remain with the practice's own licensed providers and medical director. GC Scientific does not guarantee a number of leads, patients or any financial result.
Do not share accounts, attempt to access another practice's data, resell access to the platform, or use it to obtain medication for anything other than a valid patient-specific prescription. GC Scientific may suspend an account to protect patients, partner pharmacies or the platform.
The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GC Scientific disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.
GC Scientific does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted or error free, and does not warrant the products themselves: medications are compounded and dispensed by the licensed partner pharmacy, which is responsible for their preparation, labeling, quality and beyond-use dating.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GC Scientific will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or business interruption, arising out of or relating to the platform or these terms, whether in contract, tort or any other theory, even if GC Scientific has been advised of the possibility of those damages.
GC Scientific’s total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the platform or these terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amounts the practice paid to GC Scientific in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct.
The practice agrees to indemnify and hold harmless GC Scientific and its officers, members, employees and agents from any claim, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to: the practice’s use of the platform; any prescription written, authorized or submitted through the practice’s account; the practice’s treatment of a patient; the accuracy of the information the practice enters; or the practice’s breach of these terms or of any law or professional obligation that applies to it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
Before starting any formal proceeding, the parties will first try in good faith to resolve the dispute by contacting each other — the practice at contact@gcscientific.com, and GC Scientific at the contact details the practice has on file — and allowing thirty (30) days to reach a resolution.
Any dispute that is not resolved that way will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and each party consents to the jurisdiction of those courts. Each party waives any objection to venue in those courts.
Any claim must be brought within one (1) year after the claim arose, or it is permanently barred, except where applicable law does not allow that limit.
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect and the unenforceable provision is applied to the maximum extent permitted by law.
A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. The practice may not assign these terms without GC Scientific’s written consent; GC Scientific may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
These terms, together with the Privacy policy, the Cancellation and refunds policy and the Shipping policy, are the entire agreement between the parties about the platform, and replace any prior understanding about it.
If these terms change in a way that matters, practices are told through the portal or by email before the change takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows the current version.
