Cancellation and refunds

A prescription can be cancelled at no charge until the dispensing pharmacy begins compounding it. Request a cancellation from the order in the portal or through Message Your Team; we confirm with the pharmacy and tell you the outcome.

Once compounding has begun, the prescription cannot be cancelled, because the medication is made for one named patient and cannot be used for anyone else.

Compounded medications are made for a specific patient and, by law and for patient safety, cannot be returned, restocked or resold. For that reason we do not accept returns of dispensed medication.

We will arrange a replacement or a refund, at the practice's choice where both are possible, if a shipment arrives damaged, is lost in transit, is dispensed incorrectly by the pharmacy, or arrives outside the temperature or dating the product requires because of a fulfillment error.

Tell us within 7 days of delivery, or of the expected delivery date for a lost shipment, at contact@gcscientific.com or through the portal, with the order number and, for damage, a photo. Do not use or discard the product until we reply.

A prescription that a pharmacy declines, or that is cancelled before compounding, is not charged; if it was already charged, it is refunded in full.

Refunds go back to the original payment method, or as a credit on the practice's account if the practice prefers. Approved refunds are issued within 5 to 10 business days. Shipping is refunded when the refund is due to a pharmacy or carrier error.

Plans are month to month with no minimum term. A practice can cancel at any time through Message Your Team or by email, and the plan ends at the close of the current billing month. Fees already billed for the current month are not refunded, and no further months are billed.

Advertising spend under Practice Growth is agreed in advance and paid separately; spend already committed to an advertising platform cannot be refunded by GC Scientific.

Plans are billed monthly on the date the plan starts. No notice period applies, and the first month is not refundable once the plan has begun.

Cancellation terms for a one-time consulting project are set out in its written scope of work, agreed before the project begins.

Contact us at contact@gcscientific.com with the invoice number before disputing a charge with your card issuer. We can usually resolve it faster.
