For licensed practitioners · Compounded medications from partner 503A pharmacies
Compounded medications carry real obligations for the prescriber, the pharmacy and everyone in between. The portal is designed so the compliant path is the only path.
Staff can prepare an order. Only a licensed prescriber at the practice can authorize and submit a prescription.
Every prescription names one patient. Office-use stock orders are not available through the portal.
Each shipment is checked against the dispensing pharmacy's licensed states, including product-level restrictions for controlled substances.
No product is listed without an approval record and a dated source document from the pharmacy. Controlled substances are flagged.
Medication, shipping, supplies and practice support are separate invoice lines. Practice support is never part of a medication charge.
Accounts are opened by GC Scientific once a practice is verified, never by self-service. A practice sees only its own patients, orders and invoices.
Prescribing decisions belong to the licensed prescriber. Compounding, quality, labeling, beyond-use dating and dispensing belong to the pharmacy of record. GC Scientific provides the ordering platform, account support and practice support services.
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. Availability, fulfillment and prescription requirements are determined by the dispensing pharmacy.
State rules differ. Talk to us about your practice and we will walk through how ordering works where you are.
